Domain wall motion in a Co-nanowire.
Full lines: Comparison of the magnetizion using a very fine uniform mesh and an adaptive refined mesh.
Dotted lines: The fine uniform mesh requires requires by a factor of 4 more CPUtime.
The mesh is dynamically adapted to the current magnetization distribution. Finite elements are introduced into regions where a high resolution is required. Afterwards the mesh is coarsened again.
